they make hand held UAVs. If there are no hands in the field to launch their products, then why is this a good investment? The makers of the Predator and Reaper would be better buys as the troops pull out
Just the demand from fire, police, recon, FBI, border-agents, homeland security, car chases, prisoner escapes, tornado/hurricane/flooding damage survey, etc. (about anything a helicopter does) is a huge market. These are only going to get more sophisticated, better life, better cameras, larger scope and more demand. I believe it's a long-term given.
Who really knows in the short-term, but this is a growing market, this company leads in small UAV's and they have plenty of cash. If anything, may consider dollar-cost averaging and buying more. If anything, buy in 401k or Roth IRA and forget about for 7 years. At least that's what I did.
