I think this quarter is gonna be a pleasant surprise. I haven't crunched the numbers yet, but I would guess that there might be some favorable fair value gains, as well as a reduction in provision for loan losses. Rental and fee income will show increases, and there will probably be some more gain on debt extingushment. RAS could sell one of its acquired properties for a sizeable gain as well. That would step on the eps very well. But I don't see that happening until the economy gains more steam.
Kudos on Chile's bicentential. It is arguably the most succesful country in Latin America and also an important trading partner with us. Chile has signed free trade agreements with the USA, Canada, and Mexico, so it is part of NAFTA in everything except name. A highly successful country by every measure.
