Dividend is paid out twice per year. The midyear dividend tends to be around a buck, while the end of the year dividend is about half. I have no idea why it is done that way, but that's how it has been the past two years.

Reverse that - the interim div paid in Feb is roughly half the final div paid in Aug. This is common practice for British holdings.
