Please consider the good you can do by divesting in this industry. The KeystoneXL is most devasting project to man and nature in history of mankind. jmo

    • "KILLING KEYSTONE SEEN AS RISKING MORE OIL SPILLS BY RAIL"
title of Bloomberg article...google title to find it.

"A rejection of the Keystone XL pipeline by President Barack Obama would push more of Canada’s $73 billion oil exports onto trains, which register almost three times more spills than pipelines. ..."

    • The analogy to wackos who want to stop the pipeline on the basis that it will encourage devlopment of oil sands is the catholic church's policy against condoms for the reason that they promote only abstinence as the way to prevent STDs.
Well people are gonna get laid and oil sands are going to be developed.
Limiting condom use simply results in higher incidence of STDs and non approval of pipelines is going to result in higher environmental impact due to rail accidents.

I think there is hope the President will reject the hype you promote and to a degree has already debunked the job numbers. Trains at least mean a little restraint of the rape and pillage more and more people realize every day and thus the race to get it up and burned is likely to be considered a crime against humanity and those profiting now should begin to feel the shame before our children understand the crime against humanity. Actually many do and and just as the industry has pulled out all stops to corrupt the governments so too people are writing and demanding a voice in their shared future of a burned up and burned out earth. jmho I must admit to looking for the day when the industry proves people like myself wrong by showing they have restraint and can help extract responsibly and as the Native people around the world believe think at least 7 generations out.

    • I guess these anti-pipeline wackos are happy about this:

"Train Hauling Canadian Oil Derails in Minnesota

A mile-long train hauling oil from Canada derailed, spilling 30,000 gallons of crude in western Minnesota on Wednesday, as debate rages over the environmental risks of transporting tar sands across the border.

The major spill, the first since the start of a boom in North American crude-by-rail transport three years ago, came when 14 cars on a 94-car Canadian Pacific train left the tracks about 150 miles northwest of Minneapolis near the town of Parkers Prairie, the Otter Tail Sheriff's Department said."

    • After reading your idiotic statements I took my first position in TRP. I think I just did MYSELF good in this great dividend payer.

      Sentiment: Buy

    • As some have already pointed out, the oil is being transported by rail. It is also being transported by truck and companies are getting ready to put it on barge and move it down the Mississippi. Bill, I suggest you do some homework before making such silly statements. The enviormentalists are making a grave mistake, the pipeline is the safest method to move the oil. Any other method is sheer carelessness and nobody, including Obama is going to stop the development of the oilsands.

Dirtiest oil on planet to stay in the ground. First Nations and many people in Canada will not let it be expanded and rail or truck will not be enough to move it or can it be cost affective. It simply couldn't compete and BC says NO. Canadians will say no to their right wing government. Permanent damage to planet will not be acceptable no matter how much money is used to corrupt our governments and media. 35 spills at least including kalamazooMI cover up and lies by industry yet to be cleaned up.

    • "....most devastating project to man and nature in history of mankind."
      Seriously??

    • These fools will exit this investment when people who live near the pipeline start blowing chunks of it up. It will turn into the likes of the Big Dig in Boston, where the project budget will skyrocket out of control. Most of the environmentalists are rational, but there are very few who are crazy and will turn to violence. Liza should not be so confident in this investment.

    • Please consider divesting yourself of you car and computer. Also stop heating or cooling your home and buying mass produced groceries. Your habits are a big reason why the pipeline is necessary.

P.S. Without a pipeline, the oil gets transported by rail. Do you really think that is environmentally preferable? How likely are train derailments versus pipeline spills?

      Uninformed, idiotic and hypocritic opinions.
