    Astronaut strikes back

Are you really sure that the Republicans will win In Nov?

Meg Whitman spent big $ and was ahead of Jerry Brown by a big margin. The Astronaut made a 20% swing in one day by prosecuting the Bell City officials.

    • "Who, in his right mind, can and should expect something for nothing, no none but a conservative like you amd YO Man!!!."

WTF do you think PROGRAMS are? Dims like teddy want it all for nothing and they want those who work to pay for it all. that's why liberals will never have success for an extended period of time.

    • You do indeed, have my sympathy as does your family, which is more than you'd give me.

    • Your message: "Your being a Cluster FAUX~News devotee explains to me your intelligence deficiency.

You have my sympathy as does your family."

Now who's the liar dill wad.

      To quote a jerk,
"You are either hypersensitive thus allowing you to read what's not there or liar. I prefer to think of you as the latter."
Now go back to sleep, we'll call on you for your opinion on Nov 3rd after the prog/libs are flushed down the toilet along with their mentors Castro, Chavez, and Morales Aymo.

    • Mr Ingenuity wrote and I quote..."So we should not only pay a tax on a home priced at a price we didn't pay for it but we should pay 70% taxes"?

Taxes should stay at the rate the property was bought?

Buy a piece of real estate and have your prorperty tax pegged to 1% of the purchase price.

As the property value goes up, keep the tax at 1% of the new assessment.

If the proprety valure decreases, as it did on 43's watch, keep the lower valued property tax rate at 1% of the lower assessment.

Even a smart a$$ like you should be able to figure that one out.

Who, in his right mind, can and should expect something for nothing, no none but a conservative like you amd YO Man!!!.

If a person takes a job for $50,000 a year and over time sees that income rise to $75K, should he not be be taxed at the $75K rate?

If his salary falls to $4OK should he still be taxed at the $50K rate?

Your argument is so flawed, like the tea bagger arguments, I'm amazed you can find your way to your alleged business.

    • "You're right, I wasn't TRW (The Real Whiners)"
Yes I am wat right of you and it stands for The Right Way. Not really, so don't tell me it is Thompson Ramo Woolridge, as I am aware.

"We didn't need to have our sorry a$$es saved/bailed out/rescued from greedy mis-management."
Ron Sugar & Wesley Bush came from TRW BTW :)

"I have moved to Long Beach"
      Belmont Shores ;)

"Bean counters put you and your f'd up company out of business, sort of like a community service and organizer might have done. It was a mercy killing."
No, I was long gone, quit on my own and run my own business now. And don't forget you were a bean-counter of sorts. A real legume analyzer.

"Jerry Brown was right about Prop 13, it bankrupted Calif."
So we should not only pay a tax on a home priced at a price we didn't pay for it but we should pay 70% taxes? Does anyone agree with you? have you always thought that way or is senility?
Why would anyone strive for greatness if it is all to be taken away? why not just build a soweto and forget about anything called a life?

"programs that would better served the state and the common good."
Programs? midnight basketball leagues? school lunches, breakfasts, dinners?

"Now toiday, companies like Standard Oil in ElSegundo, Northrop in ElSegundo, Manhattan Beach, B of A all over the stste and other businesses in place since 1978 are paying property tax rates at the 1978 rates, minorly adjusted only for COA allowances. Business rarely moves it's headquarter and production sites."
Yeah it is a shame that anyone pays a tax on the price they paid for their home. They should pay more as the value rises, right up to the point where they are forced to sell because they can't afford the property taxes, right?

"Mr Brown, to my knowledge, has never laid off 10% of his work force nor has he outsourced or off shored any work, unlike Mrs Carlyfornia and Whitman."
Again I will tell you Carly's job was to make a profit, not to extort $ from businesses for PROGRAMS.

I understand the Dims and liberals angle, it is to lead the stupid and the poor but I always get a kick out of those who follow so blindly. Usually after college and paychecks start rolling in, people figure it out, they've been played by the teachers but a t 71 forget it, you're done, cooked, a waste of flesh.

You're Teddy's dream come true, a stupid follower.

    • BTW...I reviewed each and every note I authored on this "Astronaut strikes back" issue and can find nothing I wrote about anyone's family.

You are either hypersensitive thus allowing you to read what's not there or liar.

I prefer to think of you as the latter.

Now go back to sleep, we'll call on you for your opinion on Nov 3rd after the prog/libs have kept control of the Congress.

    • Not as it gets.

      I can't compete with the TRW'ers.

    • Ira, every time you open your mouth, you show the world how immature and ignorant you really are. Your answer to everything is to belittle not only anyone with an opposing view, but their families as well. You are as pathetic as it gets.

    • Putting things in their proper order, I wasn't talking to you, Einstein, I had replied to Yeoman, another caveman and knuckledragging conservative.

You're right, I wasn't TRW (The Real Whiners) I was part of a successful and proifitable money making organization.

We didn't need to have our sorry a$$es saved/bailed out/rescued from greedy mis-management.

The Perry Plant was a success, we had the lowest hourly wrap rate in the company at $48 an hour back in 1995.

That plant was originally designed to be a missile production facility but for whatever resason, Northrop wasn't awarded the contract, so goes defense work.

There wasn't enough commercial work with Boeing to justify keeping the site open. Perhaps, in retrospect, they should have shut down TRW's Manhattan Beach resort and moved it south to Georgia, better serving the company and it's customers.

I have moved to Long Beach as I previuously indicated in my note you have typically and conservatively taken entirely out of context.

Bean counters put you and your f'd up company out of business, sort of like a community service and organizer might have done. It was a mercy killing.

Jerry Brown was right about Prop 13, it bankrupted Calif. There were other programs that would better served the state and the common good. Now toiday, companies like Standard Oil in ElSegundo, Northrop in ElSegundo, Manhattan Beach, B of A all over the stste and other businesses in place since 1978 are paying property tax rates at the 1978 rates, minorly adjusted only for COA allowances. Business rarely moves it's headquarter and production sites.

Mr Brown, to my knowledge, has never laid off 10% of his work force nor has he outsourced or off shored any work, unlike Mrs Carlyfornia and Whitman.

I'd love to keep up this battle of the wits but you are apparently out of ammunition and I can't take advantage of your disability, it wouldn't be fair.

    • "I first moved to California in the summer of 1965"

      Moved or snuck in?

"I joined Northrop on St Patrick's Day of 1967"

That gives me some relief that you weren't TRW. I met a few aholes in my 17 years there, glad to know I never met you.

"I was also the 1st planner"
      LOL, you're a semi-bean-counter yourself. What a hypocrite!

"Jerry Brown became governor of Cal in 1975 thru 1983 and I watched him grow."

Grow? into a what? exactly what do you think he has become, he is a clown.

"I spent until March of 1991 toiling away in Hawthorne as a Sr Manufacturing Planner and leadman when they decided to open a plant in Perry, Ga and I volunteered to go down there and help them succeed."

A semi-bean-counter is a dump city, no wonder you're so f'd up. Did you return to wonderful Hawthorne to live?

"I retired at the end of 1994" 16 years ago...you're not 69 then as you indicate then.

"because I was 55 years old and could read the handwriting on the wall, the Perry plant was on very shaky ground"

But you said you made it a success? Kind of like Obama's success?

"I lived thru the good times under both Brown's in Cal and I lived the the dark ages of Ronnie Raygun and his 8 year tenure and stewardship."
Double hypocrite, you benefitted greatly from Reagan in the 80s and you disrespect him but you're old and confused, not all are confused by 71 but you clearly are.

"I probably have more time in the Northrop pay line than you do in California"

Did you work for them for 51 years? THEN NO, YOU DON'T.
