hmm. bell canada was involved with mobile computing with experience with xybernaut wearable computing. trouble was not enough available broadband, geeky looking equipment, inadequate voice navigation, video quality; did demonstrate kiosk/line busting capability, security use, field service, etc.
times have changed. 3 g and 4 g becoming more available, wifi, iphone, gphone, symbian smartphones all with potential for near pc capabilities; better voice recognition with voip and video capabilties with mobile h.264 and adobe flash. software for collaborative work. need for more efficient work. use of femtocell from any broadband source....
