If anybody wants anything from google, that would be the gigantic global customer database with cross-sectional and timeseries data.Nobody wants Google's source code for the search logic. It is junk.
I knew that Google management was lying when they announced that the hankers stole their source code and account data for political activists.Nobdy wants Google's source code. It is junk. I think that Google's global customer data are crown jewel. Now it could legally share that data with NSA. What a joke!
We do not need to hack google. We have the Patriot act, we could summon all the info. that we need with a court order.China you have to learn to do it the right way! LOL.

If anybody needs Google's algorithm, they only need to hire a ex-employee to replicate the algorithm using his/her memory. However, the vast amount data on global customers would be the crown jewel, which could not be easily replicated.
