Have been reading some of your posts addressing your displeasure with the merger. Can you tell me how much your shares were worth before and after the merger. Hope you will be able to recoup any losses because of this. Hard to accept something you had no voice or control of.
I am in the red on my goog shares but can still feel for others.
good luck to you all
The problem with Googa-On2 merge was that it rewarded the managment of On2 and left shareholders of On2 with pennies. --Corrupt and greedy managment sold our company like it was a private one, and unfortunately Googa assisted in this silently accepting big rewards to On2 CEO and BoD and left shareholder next to nothing.
I can spend all day giving you info on what's wrong with that picture. If you would followed the board for the last 6-7 yrs, you would've seen the picture. We had our up and downs. Plus buying Hantro, didn't really help us earlier, but it has a good turnaround now. We really haven't had a good CEO or BOD strong enough to pursue ONTs power, in fact the last was our WORSE. We had a profit, and they never showed it. I know how good this codec technology is, the sad part is ONT was basically giving it away to establish themselves.
My question to you is "Why does Google want us so bad"???
Thanks for your kindness and determination to see what we are dealing with. Please be prepared to know that Google dealt with our BOD and Matt Frost, it will tell you what kind of evil is defined within Googles walls as well..........Matt Frost really wasn't here to make a name for ONT, just for himself.
I lost almost 40% in this merger, to what I knew was a strong Codec company, and had faith in its capabilities. For someone to come in our company, not updating us, fiddling with the books, saying we are in the verge of bankruptcy, not answering questions in board meetings, tampering with votes(we never saw the count, I'm sure there were stockholder insider payoffs, and there are many more to list. Not to leave out the fact we did not have a CEO, only an Interim CEO, he lied about his title several times. What surprises me is SEC did nothing to intervene, hopefully they get off their butts and do so.
So keep your eyes open, no one can be trusted when it comes to huge amounts of money. Google bought You Tube, and doesn't like the bandwidth cost, hence VP8 can save them millions a month, and we got pennies, is that a satisfying merger? Reality is we never wanted this merger, it's all fraud.
Thanks for your time, Wayne
Read all about it with the ONT Shareholders White Paper available in PDF at:
You'll find everything you need to know inside. All content came from publicly available data as noted in the Introduction/Discussion and Footnotes Sections.
Then you might discover the origins of our hostility. In particular, towards the incessant baaashits who infested the yahoo ONT message board for years.
BTW, the manipulation continued through the third shareholder vote and even after the close last Friday when tens of thousands of shares traded above the close and well above the exchange value. Manipulative naked short covering to hide their involvement. Furthermore, since the illustrious NYSE/AMEX chose to delist ONT, we can't even find out the mid-month (Feb) short interest. More camouflage of the guilty, courtesy of the exchanges and the perps who own it.
Also, both On2's management, BOD AND Google itself knew about this manipulation and its proof. Neither said anything to the SEC or FINRA.
Pissed off? Angry? Out for justice?
What would you do in our situation?
This is exactly what happened
and they seem to have gotten away with it although it is no different then Madoff ripoff
It is very refreshing to read a post from a gentleman for a change.
I believe goog, in the long run will do nothing but go up. All this China stuff is
just noise, so people will turn to bidu instead. Good Luck to all.
I have nothing against google,.. luv it, in fact,.. never could afford it.. TILL NOW!
I just don't like HOW they got On2.
Anybody with half a brain, and one functioning braincell could see that....
The BOD sold us down the river,....without a paddle.
c'est la vie....
