I'm not convinced there's a 30day rule on these guys. A, He isn't an advisor, and. B, He's a registered Rep, so he CAN say his opinion. Because he's not speaking to an individual, he's not obligated to KNOW YOUR CUSTOMER, from the standpoint of FINRA
Agreed. If you watch the show for any length of time, you hear them disclose their positions throughout the entire broadcast. They say it straight, "I'm long Google into earnings", or "I'm looking at maybe picking up some C tomorrow." They aren't controlled at all. The only rule is when they give an opinion, they have to disclose if they have a position and it they're long or short.
