Verizon just told me to take my Galaxy S3's battery out weekly

I've had this thing for only 2 months and it reboots randomly by itself 5 times a day and all the wonderful features at the beginning stop working unless I take out and put back the battery each time. I asked the Verizon guy who sold it to me and he said all Samsung Android phones eventually do this and take out the battery weekly for the rest of the time I have the phone. Android is #$%$!

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

    • My problem was with a Samsung. The speaker kept going out. They told me to reset the battery. It would work for a day or two and then #$%$ out again.
For $90 plus shipping and handling I could get it back in 5-6 weeks.
I bought an iphone 5 instead.
If something goes wrong I just bring it to an Apple store.
So far no problems. Knock on wood.
