Wearers say Google glass is an embarrassment....

Take your GEEK quotient and multiply it by 10, if you're caught with those goggles.

    • They look ridiculous on the outside, I tried them for about 20 min (from a developer friend), if you never worn prescription glasses (like me), after 20 min of wearing Google Glass your head is getting tired, after 10-15 min of looking at the tiny screen with one eye, I was appreciating my phone screen, like someone switching from 240 quality on youtube to 1080p. The "bone-conducting sound' from the Glass is irritating, and voice commands are still hit and miss. Using Glass when walking is very disorienting. So if they come at under 500$ price - they could be a popular as an "expanded" blue-tooth device, but at the 1500$ price - the developers paid for those trial glasses - it is just an overpriced toy.

    • I dont think I want to be in the company of anyone wearing Google glass.

Why subject yourself to 24 hour SURVEILLANCE! When I bring my VideoCamera or IPOD to an event, I usually get the stares-of-death from a few people, I put the camera down and the tension subsides. I will learn to HATE people with Google Glass, what will they do with all that recorded imagery, make some YouTube thing to belittle me? Use it against me if I mumble something negative about the boss. Google Glass is a future menace to society.
