My personal experience has been that the bottom occurs at about the time you get frustrated enough to sell. Then it jumps up to a price above what you sold it at before you can buy it back.
Don't try to time the peaks and valleys. Timing like that is reserved for insider traders and market manipulators of which there are far too many. That said, Google is still over priced as k1ltnow pointed out. Google missed eps 12 out of the lat 13 times. Did you expect it to go up forever?
There was an interesting article about GOOG earnings and how out of the last 13 qtry reports - GOOG has missed either revenue or eps 12 times (you can check exact numbers - but the report was pretty negative).
I think investors are now selling GOOG and buying APPLE - with the buyback, divy increase, killer earnings and new products on the way - APPLE is the place to be.
GOOG and FB fighting for same mobile users for ad money.
