The company currently has about 3.6 billion in revenue. IMPORTANT. That is revenu, not profit. They also lose money and they are losing at a faster rate.
Why data do you have to support a valuation of 42.6 billion? If SFDC could grow at 25% it would take 11 years to get to 42.6 billion in revenue. Who knows if they are making any money, but 11 years.
No profits, growing loses, not one good number other then revenue growth and you think the company is worth 42.6 billion dollars. Really?
I'm more interested in will they find another revenue stream other than sales force automation. They have one good app (SaaS SFA). I believe 95% of their revenu is from this old app. Of course Oracle and Microsoft are agressively going ather this business.
I see valuation at 2 times revenue. Thats 7.2 billion. That makes its stock price $50 (before the 4 for 1 split). Now if they can keep growing revenue and start making money the value ation will grow.
I'm excited to hear how you get to a 42.6 billion valuation.
