    Accounting for revenue

    So anyone know how CRM accounts for discounts? Can they ever flow it through the costs line? I do not understand how a company with recurring revenues at what they say are high margins, can lose so much money. Maybe they accounting for price discounts in cost of sales and sales/marketing line? How else would they be so unprofitable? Thoughts?
