Any "ask" can be listed after and before regular market hours, but the recent pattern has been for an ask of 170 that has to be changed to a lower "ask" before any trade occurs. Of course, if a "Bot" actually buys 100 shares to make it look like there is a buyer won't lead to any rally because the weak shorts are gone and the remaining shorts are waiting for significantly lower prices. FFIV doesn't have any issues as serious as CRM's IMHO and thus CRM will drop a far greater percent than FFIV did, IMHO.
That 170 "ask" after hours has already been lowered, though is still too high. Well, there was a 170 "ask" this afternoon. Either someone bought or covered or the "ask" was simply moved to a lower number.
