Every single share purchased in the last 7 months is under water.
Why anyone would want to hold this is a mystery to me. I guess it's that old feeling that maybe, just maybe things will magically bounce back. Too many people fell in love with this stock on the way up and are holding on based on hope alone. This is one of the ugliest charts out there and there is no reason to hold.
Buy when everyone is selling, sell when they are buying. This has worked for years with CRM.
Looking at volume, there sure was a lot of people selling during this correction! The best thing about writing calls at new highs is not the premium, it's the sells that one didn't have the discipline to do.
Things work until they don't. This was like a shooting star which is in it's fade. I hope you are not trying to make a case for high volume selling being a buy indicator. Technicals aside, the fundamentals always win the war and there just isn't any profit here. None, at all, maybe never.
