Oh my god, SPN skyrocketing up 10 cents Oil up 1.5 to $85+

short 600 shares SPN (covered 300 last friday at handsome profits)
SPN is skyrocketing up (10 cents) today and thats scaring us shorts ;)-
it's not an oil stock. it's an energy services stock, with the majority of the revenue tethered to NG-related services. the stock dropped in sympathy with NG because of concern regarding a drop in land completion revenue (i.e., Warrior) and a drop in GOM activity.
i'm not angry -- i'm actually pleased with the opportunity to pick up more shares. that said, i'd like to step on you, you little pissant school child. -
SPN is sinking relative to other oil stocks and you are losing money big time on your SPN. Thats the reason why you are angry. Leave emotions out of your trading, bro.

300 short at 35.50, covered at 32.50 or 33. $750 to $900, minus transactional costs. That's pretty lame dude. If you were making that every day, I'd tip my hat. By your posting, it's clear that this is not a daily event -- there are not enough hours in the day.

Make that 3800 at 35 flat. C'mon SPN, live up to that Superior name.
With bankers wanted to handle the next SPN acquisition, you can be damn sure that some of them will be stepping up, and advising that this is the bargain of the energy patch.
