1. Steps taken by management to improve liquidity, including asset sales.
2. Resumption of quarterly dividend.
3. 5 quarters of accumulated, but unpaid (so far), dividends.
4. Yield-hungry investors.
PGE resumed paying dividends of the preferred to forestall the possible appointment of 2 new directors to the board, chosen by the preferred holders. However, all back dividends must be paid prior to any resumption of cash dividend payment to the preferred holders.
