    • biorunp, you are a smart guy, but in this particular case, I disagree with you.

I think you can probably find plenty of examples that drug company mgmt team does a secondary offering a month or 2 before major FDA news announcements and most of them turn out negative.

      • SOMX did an offering for $1.05 a share in July of 2009. By December 09 it was $4 and in April 10 it was $10.

Not all offerings mean the company is going in under. In the biotech world, you take money when its there for further studies and research.

Do I like the financing? No way. Would I prefer they didnt do it? Of course. Does Adam make some great points? Yes.

However, I don't think MELA is a sell right now. I will be out in August before the panel, and I believe we will see $10 before then.

This is completely reasonable, as MELA was $12 as recent as January.

      • I looked at the Biorunup site.If your correct on the secondary offerings,it undercuts the whole premice of
buying on anticipation of FDA approval.Yet he has a great Short term track record. Not sure who or what to believe. And what about his referral to Mike Havrilla service?

    • <<You think that you have problems?>>

      Well...

      1) Crazy lawsuit against me

      2) Cotton prices falling in futures market.

3)iriemcnole refusing to tell me how to get hard to remove grease stains from my light fabrics

      4) Legislature thinking of lowering the legal limit blood alcohol levels for people using motorized wheelchairs.

    • Me <<Umm, I bought some TSLA today. (I actually did.) >>

Fncy, I hope it is OK for me to ask that you not burn down Telsa headquarters.

    • Regardless of how great the news is, if the market goes down most stocks go with it.-- mori

Not Tesla. Up yesterday by nearly 50% despite the fact that market was off huge.

Tesla has never sold a car, has no history, offers no fundamentals and offers a product that is ridiculously expensive.

Sounds a lot like MELA except for the fact that investors obviously believe that Tesla will succeed at bringing their product to market and ultimately turn a profit.

My broker, Don C. Adams, never mentioned any of those things to me. --verm

Error of omission only; not to worry.

You think that you have problems? I got back from a meeting today only to have my assistant hand me a notice from my mailman stating that there are two certified parcels from the IRS waiting for my signiture at the post office confirming my receipt of them. She was *NOT* allowed to sign for them.

Looks like another Jack Daniels and Clonazepam night for me.

No matter how you cut it, you made at least 10% more on your money today than did every single investor in MELA.

    • Dude, what are you talking about. Enough cash for 5 qtrs... that's more than a year! What's the point of doing an offering now when market is tanking and big news on the horizon???
