    BONDS VS SECONDARY

Management should be, have already hired financial people that could get them ahead of the curve. Someone should have realized by now that if they can create a book of orders in addition to the recurring revenue stream of card sales that they could borrow funds in lieu of a secondary. The present cost of money even in sub markets is extremely desirable.
The prospect would buy them the needed time to get pps higher, allowing more time before offering a secondary to buy out bonds and refi at a lower/reduced rate in the future.

Upon reflection I tend to agree with ATIP regarding managements silence. They/management will not do anything while they are still selling stock. Watch for news that they raised needed funds. Once again the first 90 days of 2013 will be interesting.

PS who ever made that $1.75 pps call at yearend, nice call IMO cover soon.......

When you issue bonds, you actually have to pay them back. You need to have profits in the future. Companies like Amazon, which at first was losing lots of money, issue bonds, because tyhey can pay them back. but for goofy worthless biotech companies like mela which will never make a profit, the necessary strategy is to just issue new shares to newer and newer groups of suckers, because the company will never need to compensate those suckers.

OH YA! Never make a profit. Doctors on FOX News calling it a huge advancement for 2013, more and more Derms touting its benefits but we are suppose to believe an anonymous basher on a Yahoo MB!

Let us give proper credit where it is due. I believe that it was Aequitas that brought this issue up.

"Reason 2: As Mela is continuously selling stock at the market price (ATM), the lawyers have told management that any statements made by the company beyond the qrtly updates on melafind sales could lead to law suites. (someone buys or sells before such a statement and incurs a loss and then claims stock price manipulation.)" Aequitas Dec 28
