Anyone who's been inside a CVS store after Walgreen's has to be hugely disappointed. A very bad consumer experience from price to product to service. Walgreen's may need to follow the example of Bezos and simply ignore the stock price and shareholders' dissatisfaction. Don't be afraid of deficit spending and debt. Keep the sales increasing whatever it takes, satisfy the consumer at any cost, and damn the profits. Eventually the others will wither and fade away, the consumer will awaken to the inarguable superiority of old reliable, and WAG will return to it's old glory as the only game worthy of Sir Consumer's time and consideration. Walgreen's will be to CVS what Amazon is to Overstock.com. If they play it too conservatively, obsessing about cutting costs here and there, they'll go the same route as Sears/K-Mart. (At least I haven't been stopped out of Walgreen's yet.)
I don't get the point. Are you a chartist? This message board is full of messages like yours. No value added - just your personal opionion whcih may be right or wrong. I would rather hear why Walgreens didn't participate in such a strong market. Usually that is related to earnings prospects whcih you may know something about. If so let us know.
I have learned alot from other boards that have both sellers and buyers but they often give their reasons for their position.

Markets up 5% in 2 days. Profit taking coming. Markets will go down. WAG will not buck the trend most likely.
Therefore, WAG will go down another 40c (1%) in the near-future getting to it's 52 week low.

OK...WAG is a POS old granny stock without any great dividend. Retail is seeing weakness. CVS bought Caremark which makes it the star of the sector.
The truth is WAG has done nothing in the last 2-3 years. Move on to a stock that will not waste your time.
I have been what longs call "bashing" WAG for over a year now. Yet my opinions of a stock going nowhere in a red hot and now cooling off market have been right. Move on and make some money somewhere. If WAG jumpoed 10% you would make another $4. It ain't happening so fast pal.
