How tiresome. I, again, didn't say it was a WAG only problem. But this is the WAG message board and they ARE the largest player (in $$$'s) in the retail pharmacy space. You attempt to excuse WAG because others might be additionally culpable. That's not even remotely credible; it's like Jeffrey Dahmer defending his actions because Richard Speck also committed murders. Totally absurd and logicless!
As for identifying pills, I take lisinopril for blood pressure; my doctor changes dosages frequently, the generic fills can vary and the pills do not always look the same. Unless I were a licensed pharmacist, how should I know if there is a problem? Especially if I got the script filled at: "The Pharmacy America Trusts?" And why would I care. I pay for that service from whomever I get my medicines from.
Whatever reductions may have been made to plaintiffss seeking monetary compensation for misfills, I seem to recall from the USA Today article(s) that Walgreens paid out $62million in damages in a recent year. Not chump change, there, is it dude?
