I agree that most unions offer nothing to their employees. The problem is that there are far too many operating managers that shouldn't be managing at all. That's why we have no value unions. They protect the men and women that shouldn't be fired from the managers that shouldn't be managing. The unions also protect the men and women that should be gone yesterday. Look to top management. A union environment is a sign of bad management. The teachers unions are a great example. We have some great teachers that are members of their local unions and teachers that should be working for Waste Management. It's a shame that unions get in the way of teaching our kids because school boards in general have no clue how their districts are managed.
