Rewind 10 years; Fast forward 10 years!

Ten years ago, today, the adjusted share price of Walgreens (after factoring in dividends) was $30.30. With luck, ten years from now the adjusted share price for WAG will be $30... give or take.

This moribund equity is a nightmare for institutions whose cost of updating a prospectus can exceed $1 Million, just to advise shareholders of a change in their investment portfolio. So... pundits can claim that "buy and hold" is dead, but for the institutions that OWN 2/3 of WAG's outstanding shares, they have little choice.

"Buy and hold" may be on populist hiatus, but it lives on in the portfolios of Warren Buffet and George Soros. What does NOT live on in either is sickly WAG stock.

    • Ten years ago, today, the adjusted share price of DSCM (after factoring in no dividends since they have NEVER paid any) was $6.56. With luck, ten years from now the adjusted share price for DSCM will be $3.00... give or take if they are even still in existence(today it closed DOWN again at $1.82!!!!!!!!

This moribund equity is NOT a nightmare for institutions whose cost of updating a prospectus can exceed $1 Million, just to advise shareholders of a change in their investment portfolio because NOBODY but a moron would invest in this loser! So... pundits can claim that "buy and hold" is dead, but only a brain-dead person like me would buy and hold DSCM!

"Buy and hold" may be on populist hiatus, but it lives on in the portfolios of Warren Buffet and George Soros. What does NOT live on in either is sickly DSCM stock, or CVS stock or WalMart stock. They are loading up on Wag at this bargain price!
