Profit taking at year end has nothing to do with the underlying value of the stock which will likely rebound back to early December levels if the stock price is negatively impacted, which could or could not happen. I just hope that they have enough skilled people in the pharmacy to deal with the burgeoning class of baby boomers who need medications. My only complaint with the 3 stores in my town is that it takes a while to fill a prescription. But hey, Better that then everyone sitting on the butts.
Buying during the run up before earnings is always a risky proposition, and one which you can get burned. Especially in December. Especially in an uncertain economic climate. That's all I was saying.
Do I think WAG is a good stock? You bet. Should you buy it? You bet. Now? Not sure. I'd wait until after the earnings/year end. But that's just me.
