Walgreen Co. Message Board

    Good riddance

I notice that since jramp20032000 moved over to the google board and is bombarding them with his 24 hour pumping posts that this board has become much easier to navigate. I would like to read about the success anyone here has had with options on walgreen stock. Any input or advice would be appreciated. Please, no spam and no flames.

    • This stock has been creeping up slowly every day. He evidently has found the right audience.
I would stay away from options if you are just a beginner. Go to Amazon and pick up a well reviewed book on the subject and educate yourself before diving in. You darn sure do not want advice from the 6 or 7 people that come to this board. Having said that, here is a little tip which you can take or leave. Watch for a 3% drop in EBS stock, which will signal a buy for the long haul.

    • My advice to you is not to listen to folks who think the stock is headed to $8, and then cannot provide a reason why.

My advice to you is to read articles about Walgreens, and decide if the dozens from 2011 are more applicable than those from 2006.

My advice to you is not to listen to those who cannot spell potato OR potatoes.

My advice to you is to listen to reason, and then, when the replies are merely name calling, consider the source of the name calling.

My advice to you is to do your own homework, and look to engage with those that do.

My advice to you is not to take advice from those on these message boards, since no one has claimed to be a financial advisor.

My advice to you is to pay attention to those who buy puts AND calls, and buy AND sell the underlying stock, and to NOT listen to those who exclusively bash or pump.

My advice to you is to use this message board as a source of entertainment, and enjoy the comedic stylings of Ivan, yankapotamous, and the like, and watch the implosion of those they skewer.

      Hope that helps.
