if wag was to buy rad that would put huge pressure on esrx they would be back begging for distrubution if they did not cvs caremark would kill them esrx will be broke after spending money they do not have on a failing co.! lets see how this plays out i think wag will do the right thing
Not sure how many units they would have to sell. In the East there seems to be a Rite aid and Walgreens and CVS on every corner. I think RAD will be sold in pieces with the West coast going to CVS and possibly the East going to Walmart.. or the whole thing going to Walmart.
Hmm think first of the reimbursement pressure now applied to walgreens from esrx and mhs business, also wag has little choice against thevlargest pbm but to accept lower rates. Expect wag to start cutting hours and people.
I am sure esrx already did the numbers on this deal. It's a winner. Esrx is led by some extremely sharp people.
WOW!!!there must be a lot of noodling going on in Chicago and Woonsocket....If CVS and Walgreen (independently)walk away from the combined ESRX/Medco...what happens to their network???Could CVS sell half of Caremark to Wag????Sounds crazy but this is the time to think outside the box???I am a shareholder in both WAG and CVS.....Tell me I'm nuts
