Hmm think first of the reimbursement pressure now applied to walgreens from esrx and mhs business, also wag has little choice against thevlargest pbm but to accept lower rates. Expect wag to start cutting hours and people.
I am sure esrx already did the numbers on this deal. It's a winner. Esrx is led by some extremely sharp people.
WOW!!!there must be a lot of noodling going on in Chicago and Woonsocket....If CVS and Walgreen (independently)walk away from the combined ESRX/Medco...what happens to their network???Could CVS sell half of Caremark to Wag????Sounds crazy but this is the time to think outside the box???I am a shareholder in both WAG and CVS.....Tell me I'm nuts
Cvs will not walk from esrx. Esrx might walk from wag. Wag is like 14 percent market share I figure mhs and esrx has to be about 15 percent of wag business. Cvs stands to take a lot of biz from wag. Cvs can pull out of wag network. And now walmart express entering urban areas, expect considerable margin pressure for wag.
