Milo is wrong, it was Longs Drugs that was considered for purchase under Rein. CVS won out on the purchase making them a major player on the west coast, just when Walgreens was trying to establish a larger presence there.
I'm not wrong, I simply said they should have bought esrx or another pbm at that time. Reins fall came because he failed on the longs purchase and missed qtr earnings by some 18%.
