What makes you think they got such a good deal. seems like they came back to the table because they were obviously losing lots of customers. This is just the first round of what I predicted a few years back. The PBM's are squeezing the free standing chains with mail order and lower reimbursement. As long as wally will take just about anything and other entities have lower overhead wag will get squeezed. Maybe wag can work their slave pharmacists even harder with less help. The amount of pharmacy school grads being dumped into what was a profession has already created a surplus in some areas. So they can burn them out and start over with another one. With today's work load I doubt you'll see many long term pharmacists.
Again...I have posted negativity about Walgreens maybe 3 or 4 times out of the 100 or so posts
I was very upset with how management destroyed shareholder value. I am not a pumpster like you so I see the reality of the situation.
You are in love with Walgreens, I am not
"Looks like Wall Street has accepted the reality that Walgreens has only gains ahead of it"
Not all of Wall Street because we would be back around $50 if they did.
Our Walgreens was left for dead now it has a heart beat
Lets hope Management doesn't pull the plug too soon.
"85% seems to be a good start"
Let's hope they are right and the other analyst are wrong.
Management owes us big time. When they show that they can deliver I will be more exuberant but I just cant I be overzealous like you about something that hasn't happened yet
