•Walgreen Profit Drops Amid Loss of Express Scripts Sales
Wasson and his arrogance have made some critical misjudgements. Who ever failed to resolve the Express Scripts debacle before it became to late should have been quickly terminated. If they would have settled, Rite-aid would have soon been a passing thought. They have now given them for a short time new life. I still firmly believe that this company will be successful, but if Wasson does not turn it in the right directions in the next 2 quarters, he need not worry his golden parachut will be deployed.
Walgreens having major problems with computer systems. They are constantly screwing up my family's scripts. Long waits at Pharmacy due to glitches in system and have heard many customers complain while in line all while they wait on drive thru customers. Also putting too much emphasis on generic brand to boost margins. I will stay a loyal customer despite these setbacks as I always joke with staff and RPh's are a true asset and help to me. My wife said their IT dept screwed up and a guy in line I talked to has worked there 33yrs and said much of IT has been outsourced. Get rid of Wasson. Every CEO wants to make a mark but winds up doing more damage than help. If something is working leave it be. I will always hold WAG shares as I do many top Illinois companies with HQ here in the area as I know the companies workers and monitor the sales, income, etc
