    • CVS reached a deal to acquire Minneapolis-based MinuteClinic in July 2006. It was considered a pioneer provider of retail-based health clinics in the United States. MinuteClinic operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of CVS Caremark.
      In its annual report to shareholders in 2010, , CVS said it expected health care reform to bring some form of coverage to 32 million uninsured Americans.
