no one here will believe you...all they know is
sentimental b.s. about okay I bought it and it has doubled
every two years....what they don't understand is that
the stock doubled when the industry was a top
performer and WAG could do no wrong.......well the industry
is no longer in favor, and labor shortages are
becomming a real problem in the mature markets--not to
mention the fact that ALL internet related web start ups
have lost some of their appeal....yes the techincals
look very weak, but up 200 point days can make almost
any stock look good....I will be buying with you @
$20.....I love reading the posts here that wag will be $27
next week or $50 by yr end...numbers are easy to pick
out of the air, but no one has solid reasons for the
runup (at least drugrunner tries to make a valid
arguement..but interest rate scenario wont help
him).......fumdamentals are very good B+ on a scorecard, but the
technicals are C- at best, and more likely D+.....and absent
any unforseen news, technicals always lead the
way.........GO WAG...down to $20
this is not the first time rumors have been
circulating.. However, wags maintains a policy of not acquiring
other retail chains. It would nice to expand into the
canadian market, but it won't happen unless wags decides
to open canada as a new market. As they say in
quebec province, c'est la vie.....
The difference between the two
is hugh.... Cvs took the proper hit on one-time
charges, and have converted Peoples and Revco to near
perfection. Some people look at the changes in CVS south as
being a problem, but poorer customer service and store
standards is a factor of difficult job market, not a poor
managed company. CVS has done amazingly well considering
the factors, and if you look at each aquizition
individually, you can see that Peoples and Revco truly benefit
by CVS's layout, structure, and vision.
Arbor though, is a struggle.... Less stores, but tapped
rescorces, and strange Detroit marketplace.
Can we now put this all to rest and go back to
talking about the real issue of how our stock is going to
do in the coming days. I am long on WAG and enjoy
the info on this board.
Thanks and good luck
to all longs.
Now I can see where you are coming from, Bilay.
Being in the situation of some others in your area now,
you relate to this, and sympathise with them. I
agree, if I was a landlord, I would have done what I
could to make things smooth for a longtime tenent. But,
you know how most people are... All they care about
is money! So...
