Going lower? Probably...
Still averaged in at 2.72
Holding. Riding this thing to the ground.
Hopefully we can all laugh and look at years from now and say "Hey, remember when it was $2 and you were all scared?". Haha...
All the minor details along the way don't really matter.
This thing should have been crushed a long time ago.
There is a real reason it wasn't and it's still breathing.
$8-$10 per share 5-7 years (at the very least) from now is a very realistic valuation.
We are looking at 2 key points for this thing to go back to at least half of where it was prior to the quote.
1) Settlements are done.
2) Company posts profits.
Both are inevitable.
They can't NOT pay the settlements.
They can't NOT post a profit.
antacular, are you sure you aren't being affected by the confirmation bias? i know you are a value investor so you know what that means....it seems everything that happens to this firm, you are able to see it in a positive light. Just not sure if that's the way to go, but only time will tell..
I would expect the contract to state that it's contingent upon the 1 trillion yen injection being funded. It obviously has to be. The thing is that I have no clue if the funds have been injected yet.
I believe they need working capital and that's why they are selling bonds. The claims can be managed later. Right now they are trying to cover payroll, repairs, paying back old loans, etc.
The 1 trillion yen was mostly allocated for compensation payments.
All my speculation anyways...

At close in NY yesterday (today for americans) 100.65
Not much difference for USD/YEN.
