    I'm selling everything.

Your hyperbolic logic will continue to fail you. But don't worry about it too much: we are playing a zero sum game here, after all. Having been net long the market for about 15 months, I'll soon finish building my pile of capital.

I'll be hiring a housecleaner next week for weekly service and will soon be looking to hire an architect to design the additions to our little ranch house.

Stay short or stay out altogether: either way we'll have a job for you soon. Maybe you should post a resume.

    • Your 15 months of long holds on exactly the precise equity's to gain all that capital wealth is astounding. Too bad your fantasy is restricted to a useless message board and you maybe squeeked out 10% but you can't control your dork mentality.

      • i squeezed out 13% this year, by going long, some 400k ...

      • I was long in Nov 2008 as well, a little early. I suffered in March of 2009 mightily, but got back in and stayed in.

In July of 2009, I bought August09 calls ($19 strike) of AIG for about 23 cents/share. They were selling for $19 before expiration. That changed my life.

I have been net long since, took a hit coming into summer 2010 due to poor hedging and overoptimism. I was about 70% in long position coming into Sept. 30% cash to buy in case of pullback. I bought calls on TNDM for 10 cents a share after lackluster earnings call. They're selling for 75 cents now. My best trade of the year.

So I've lost. But being net long since March 09 was the right position. Long is the right place now.
