Remember, the short position INCREASED also at the end of March BEFORE the drop. When it dropped in April, other shorts ran in and shorted, driving the short interest to where it is now (end of April). The stock has based since the earnings dropped and I expect these shorts to have to cover once the stock starts going up.
I will start buying my shares back next week since I can now book losses on the stock I sold 30 days ago. Please keep the stock under $13 until I finish buying. This game is easy if you know what you're doing. NO TAXES DUE FOR 2014 FOR ME!!!!! And, I will just wait for the stock to get back to the high 30's.......
Citamar thoughtful response but there is more to the short issue. WE NOW HAVE JUST OVER 11% OF THE FLOAT SHORT!!! Most of those positions were taken when the stock was 13. Those are not know nothing day trading fred (beachsidefreddy) like trades.
Now I’m not saying don’t buy back in!
The high 30s imo wont be seen if ever for years, too many shares outstanding and major permanent valuation compression.
I may respond further tonight, must go. BTW, it’s so unfortunate we cant discuss the IBM relationship without Fred (beachsidefreddy) creating 10 new topics and hurling insults. He simple does not understand IBM relationship and financial impact , AT ALL.
Too many shares outstanding? 7.7 million float? At $13, the only real worry now is if insiders start selling (they have been buying). Do you realize that DWCH was NOT the only small cap/hi flier that got hit the past couple of months? THEY ALL DID. This drop was partly earnings report and partly market conditions. I don't expect a stock like DWCH , off 65% from it's highs to fall much further.
I will be buying big this coming week, as I have passed the 30 days tax loss requirement. I don't like the huge loss I had, but at least Uncle Sam will pay me for 30% of the losses and I expect the stock to be in the 20's by year end if the market doesn't crash! That's how you recoup losses. You can't just sit on your hands.
this is proof of idiocy. Are you saying that if things start to get traction with IBM they will say..."no sorry we cant do any more biz with you we never expected this so we are going to bail" IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!
