    Stock drop is pretty funny

Seems like most people have zero clue how lawsuits work.

MNTA previously won a preliminary injunction, which is just a court order telling Amphastar "hold off on selling the drug while we work this out." It doesn't mean that either Amphastar or MNTA won the case, although it does mean that the court thought MNTA has a very strong case - a court won't grant a preliminary injunction like this if it doesn't think the party in MNTA's position has a strong chance of winning.

Amphastar went to the court of appeals and said the injunction was going to cause it great harm. Importantly there's no info as to whether Amphastar had to post a bond, which is money they need to pay if they end up losing the case. It's basically the court saying " you know Amphastar, you're probably going to lose, so if you want this injunction lifted you need to deposit enough money with the court to make up for MNTA's losses when you lose."

I don't see that MNTA's position has changed much at all, although the stock is now certainly more attractively prices.
