Ask.com is Hijacking peoples browsers expect consumer backlash
I woke today to have all of my browsers hijacked by ask.com to include the Ask.com toolbar and ask.com as my default homepage. I tried deleting and restoring my settings to no avail. I have now spent over an hour of my time learning how to remove this unscrupulous software from my PC. Please do not invest in this company as consumers will be running from this service in droves. Is this type of activity the only reason they beat AOL out for the #4 rank, I think it may be. If that in fact is true; Ask.com is trying to hoodwink investors by claiming to be gaining popularity when actually they are illegally infiltrating potential users pc's. I will continue to spread the word about these devious actions perpetrated by ask.com.
Please let us know what happens when you awaken tomorrow. Your settings may revert to Disney TinkerBell dust. Good luck! (you just awoke and Ask.com was there...you didn't enter it or hit a button to make it your default browser?)(Don't you have a "go-back" program. MSFT provides that as do companies such as Norton?)
