I am almost ready to buy, this is getting pretty low. I believe the dividend is secure. For what it is worth, I spoke with my local banker who has been originating mortgages and selling most of them to TONE. He states business is good and the debt is good. I think no one knows how messy the Florida problem is. I think they usually have a shareholder meeting in May, might be good to go to if your in or near Lincoln.
Would be nice if someday the company announced they were closing their production offices in FL and NV and writing off every last penny. Then maybe they could get back to basics lending to farmers and get this sh*t behind us once and for all.
But management is too obstinate. They will stay the course.
I hate to be a broken record, but I still think there are some big players out playing the swings. The massive price fluctuations in the last hour and after hours every day is too repetitive to be coincidence. Someone bought 39,500 shares at $8.15 in AH................
