TRP managers must abide by their fund prospectus and remain invested in accordance with those rules. What would have happened to the individual stock prices if TRP managers had dumped their shares in any given oil company. Mutual fund managers have limits on what they can do when it comes to dumping shares because they hold such large quanties of shares in a given company.
TRP Will be the next bankrupted company at this rate. All their funds have crashed. I have been in their "top ten" funds and they have all crashed over the last couple years... I am pulling what's left of what i invested out of this company. I would have been better off using my money to build a campfire at least then I would have gotten a little warmth from it while it was burning!!!!!
i totally agree with you. i trusted all my money with these managers thinking they would be more capable than me to manage my money. Two of my funds are TRP funds are down almost 50% from its peak. How could that be possibe when I thought they're risk are spread out. I would be better off buying my own stocks rather than paying this idiots in TRP year after year.
