Cool summer, expect revenue to drop as people aren't turning on their AC. I haven't even bothered putting my window unit in. To digress, this stock is way over priced, Alliant and Allete give a much better dividend and comparable metrics.
It's true the price is a little high and it is true that heating/cooling seasons do fluctuate. But for the long haul, MGEE strikes me as a well-run company. Perhaps it's better to have a great company at a good price than a good company at a great price? (sorry, I love Warren B) A significant increase in the August dividend might help with dividend comparisons with other companies.
