Comcast developing 'magical' mobile video product with Verizon

Comcast (Nasdaq: CMCSA) and Verizon Wireless (NYSE: VZ) are using their joint innovation lab to develop "magical experiences" for cable subscribers using mobile devices, the MSO said in a recent job listing.
"The Mobility Solutions team is pioneering Comcast's strategy to enable new products and services outside the home on a myriad of mobile devices. As part of this quest, we're overseeing Comcast's innovation joint venture with Verizon Wireless, with the goal of delivering magical experiences that move seamlessly across all your digital devices," Comcast wrote in the job listing for a "director of product management mobility solution" at its headquarters in Philadelphia.
The cable MSO and Verizon Wireless formed a joint innovation lab last year that was created after it agreed to sell broadband wireless spectrum to the mobile phone provider. Comcast, Time Warner Cable (NYSE: TWC), Bright House Networks and Cox Communications have also signed joint marketing deals with Verizon Wireless that allow subscribers who order new cable and mobile phone products to receive discounts and prepaid debit cards.
I just came across this reading Fiercecable and thought it might involve Rovi's technology as Comcast is a customer of Rovi... Verizon/Redbox recently joined Ultraviolet for their streaming partnership...could this be upside for Rovi???
