If Kmart's real est. is so great, what

    Kmart/sears combo: kears?, s-mart?, kroebuck?,
skregge? ? Think strip mall trash and big box ghost towns is an interesting description. What do we do with all the older closed down stores that gobble money, don't make money and pay few property taxes? Anyone faced this issue in their home town? What do you put in these things to replace revenue? Just wrecking ball and start over? The new kmart/sears i hear will operate as a sears store or as a kmart store. I hear they will be third largest retail. I wish them luck! They are closer to and more favored by me than the big boxes after the mom & pops downtown. Merger should have some economies of scale. Hope they don't lose individual identity of separate stores. Imho. Dyodd.
