Does anyone on this board have any reason for the recent 10% runup in this REIT. I have had this for 10 yrs+ and this is it's highest level ever. I know they have been purchasing quite a few new properties recently, but this price is unusual. Not that I am complaining a bit.
....just a wild guess but once the share price is consistantly over 10 it opens the stock up to many more institutional buyers.....I have been here quite some time also....rememember when the top stated goal of management was to have market cap of 100 mil
The Payout is all. Just like all those high yield closed end bond funds. The search for yield continues, if the Federal Reserve Banking Corp. is going to leave rates low until 2014. MNR could easily go to 6.00% yield.
