Yes, apparently the Web page author was missing something. 9:30 EASTERN time is 6:30 a.m. PACIFIC.
If you think of the sun coming up in the East side of things, you can remember that things to the West get the sun later, so every solar time (like noon) occurs later in the West. And it even explains why CNBC talks about the market closing at 4:00 in New York when it clearly closes at 1:00 out here in California. Amazing, huh?

the geron website says 9 a.m eastern 12 p.m. pacific, am i missing something here? i think they are a little mixed up. anyone positive it begins at 9:30 a.m. EASTERN time?
