Comcast Corporation Message Board

  • j_bass_123 j_bass_123 May 10, 2003 6:42 AM Flag

Here's the key to the earnings report:

"Comcast...said its loss ballooned to $297 million, or 13 cents a share, in the first quarter, from $89 million, or 9 cents a share, a year earlier. Bottom-line results continued to be pressured by paying off its debt."

Hmm, so all of the new subscribers (victims) they lured in over the last year translated to bigger losses. FACT: LOSSES ARE WIDENING FOR THE FILTHY MUTT. It sounds like someone needs to learn how to run a company.

Then there's that nagging debt problem that Pebbles wants to ignore again. (Wall Street won't ignore that giant black hole.)

And all of that is even before the negative ramifications of the looming DSL-led price war kick in, dragging the pup down even further. This P.O.S. is dead dog meat, friends. I'm sure glad I won't be a shareholder as the next few quarters of widening losses roll in.

    JB1

(Comcast is dying - losses widening as she struggles under her mountain of debt. She's going down. End of discussion.)

(but i wouldn't bet on it)
      ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I would not either. There is a lot of hot air on these boards, some of it rather self-serving. It seems that some folks are rather stuck on themselves.

    • it seems j_bass has suddenly decided to drop the subject about just who is & who isn't a liar.

why do you think that is?

(maybe jim will come in and explain it. or maybe mwood will come in and explain it)

(but i wouldn't bet on it)

    • thatta boy, mwood. let's see how much longer you can continue to criticize one of your "friends".

    • forget the apology jim; i never believed for a minute that you intended to leave me out.

the one thing i DO believe however, is that you sure as hell intended to dodge the rest of my msg which you didn't say a word about.

here, let me repeat it for you and give you the opportunity to dance around it again:

      >>let's hear what you have to say to j_bass for his msg #1704 and the challenge he issued.

then read my answer to his challenge (#1709).

notice how quickly that conversation ended!!

would you like to comment on my response to his accusing me of being a liar???

go ahead, give it a try.

are you going to continue being the john alden for j_bass's miles standish?

it's j_bass that wound up in the box, and he has nothing but his own words to blame for being there.<<

come on jim; let's see your views as to just who it is on this board that's making "mistakes" (or in j_bass's words is a liar)

    • And so you just keep on lying and keep on posting. So much for "prove I have lied and I never post again", huh? Just one of your many lies. But don't worry, I won't call you names. I don't stoop to your level. Have a nice day.

    • >>>but you know dam well that I control this board<<<

Your "fifteen minutes of fame"? Kinda sad don't ya think?

    • Sorry Pebbles, you are still included. You, VD and ped (not peb). Sorry if you felt left out.

      Jim

    • Thanks for the kind words Jim, but I would never own such nasty vermin. I merely control them like laboratory rats. As for the replies, I don't read posts from any of the brain-dead cheerleaders any more. I will post once in a while, like when the mutt falls back into the $20's, when she hits $25, $20, $15 and $10 for instance. Then I will laugh like a hyena at the true imbeciles who you know are going to ride her all the way down. LOL!

By the way Jim, how do you like her breakout performance since the earnings report? Correct me if I'm wrong sir, but weren't we supposed to have been put in our places when the P.O.S. shot to the moon after the "blockbuster" earnings report? LOL! Man, this is too funny.

      (Comcast is dying.)

    • Replies number 2,4 and 5 after your post were from these 3 maggots

..."maggots"? Gee who else but jbass is insane enough to refer to shareholders in a particular stock as "maggots"

You are truly taking internet insanity to greats heights Mister Bass!

    • i've read your follow-up correction that takes me out of consideration, but you couldn't even realize that i WAS mentioned in j_bass's msg.

      but aside from that:

let's hear what you have to say to j_bass for his msg #1704 and the challenge he issued.

then read my answer to his challenge (#1709).

notice how quickly that conversation ended!!
