    Comcast profit rises 22%; customer demand surges

    Free cash flow jumped 20% to $1.1 billion

    The results surpassed expectations "across the board," said Marci Ryvicker, cable and satellite analyst at Wells Fargo Securities, as the company gained more overall customers, digital video, broadband and telephone subscribers than experts had predicted.

    Philadelphia-based Comcast (CMCSA:$14.06,00$-0.45,00-3.10%) said it earned $944 million, or 33 cents a share, compared with a profit of $771 million, or 26 cents a share, in the same quarter a year earlier.
    Revenue rose to $8.8 billion from $8.55 billion.

      Last chance to buy CMCSA less than $14.35 a piece.

      Next Jan 2010, you will pay for the same stock around $22.00

      Go figure out the % gain early next year.

      Buy it now if you think it will go up at least 10 to 20% from here (i.e. $14.06).

      People are worried about 1) Future Growth and 2) Over paying for NBC Universal.

      I'm betting the stock will rebound to the 17 range by next QTR once the smoke clears. Also have the same amount of Jan 12.50 Puts at 40 cents just incase the stock implodes.
