Comcast Corporation Message Board

IMHO it would be a very good thing if Comcast, now the principle owner of NBCU, start to make changes to the asset by getting rid of the left leaning reporters and hosts of the programing at CNBC and MSNBC. If they struggle with that at least get some reporters that know how to do investigative reporting instead of the opinion reporting they have today and the all google-eyed Obama crowd that can't see the mirror through the smoke. Again JMHO.

Comcast has a geat asset in NBCU but they need to change the culture at NBCU to gain respect among total viewership vs. one side of the topics and bring back NBC to a place they deserve which is not last place where they are today.

The one other asset I find interesting is the share of VVTV Comcast picked up in this deal with GE of the NBCU holding. Is there a chance that the VVTV asset can compete with QVC and HSNI and will Comcast let VVTV into the 10M homes that they are not in in Comcast today? Comcast, I think, tried to get QVC in the past but it was not to be; and now that VVTV has turned the corner with a new management team..., will Comcast play a larger role in VVTV's (ShopNBC) further success? I do find this interesting as a shareholder of VVTV.
