I have had service outages (no email) during the lunch hour for weeks. Also some mornings. Seems that they are not keeping up with investments on the east coast. Customer service is unable to help. Only says that "we can't guarantee 100% uptime and we do need to do service." Seems they are not making investments to handle the volume of business they have. This can't bode well for keeping their current market share.
Howly, please make a service call. If it is Comcast problem they should not charge you, if it is within your home its your issue to pay to fix your problems within your home. You have the power because you are the customer. Get on it and get your problems resolved. You are not getting your problem fixed on this board.
Talked to three service reps and they can't help. They don't make management decisions on infrastructure. There is no problem in my home or with internet connection. Email doesn't load during peak hours because (apparently) there is not enough capacity on their email servers (or else where in their system) to handle demand. Classic problem. Time to make some investment or they will loose market share in the long term to companies who monitor and keep up with investment.
