I'm long on TNXP... currently holding 880 shares. I'm curious about the lack of fund ownership? The management team is holding a large portion...so that looks good...BUT I don't see any institutions. Isn't that strange on a $10 biotech stock?
My friend, institutions are starting to own this stock. It's roughly 45% owned by funds and institutions. Yahoo is not not an accurate reference fyi. More will come on throughout the year so just be patient.
In my brokerage account it is showing 587,000 owned by institutions with Broadfin Capital owning about 10% of the shared with all the other ones being less then 1%. I don't know how accurate it is today because that was the last quarter figures.
mutual funds typically dont look at stocks under $5, TNXPj ust crossed that in early december, there were days of massive volume this month, just wait till the next updated holders list, I promise there will be more buyers
never mind... I was looking at marketwatch and yahoo and neither listed institutional ownership... at least that I could see.. MSN money has them listed.
That said could anyone comment on the quality of the institutions and funds that own this stock? I've heard great things about the management team as well... I think more potential investors need to hear how good this management team is...and how highly respected they are.
I will say though that there is very little fund and institutional ownership. I do wonder why that is? I would think more would add stability to this stock. Why are the big guys not buying this stock? If there is so much promise for the future.... the big guys jump all over companies with nothing to offer... I don't really get this.... is this something worth worrying over?
